by Sammy Edmonds posted Dec 3 2013 2:11PM
Grant County Sheriff’s authorities have caught the robbery suspect who escaped during a GED class at Marion Ivy Tech Tuesday.  Grant County Sheriff’s deputies discovered 17-year-old Kaleb Marin around 12:30 this (Wed) afternoon at a residence in the 1600 block of West Nelson Street.  He was then transported to the Grant County Jail.

Marin faces armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, criminal confinement and will likely face more charges after Tuesday’s incident.

Marin was arrested in October in connection to the robbery of the Marion Village Pantry on West 9th Street, and the attempted robbery of the Marathon convenience store in Sweetser.

Though 17-years-old, Marin is being tried as an adult.
