Snow Showers Play Havoc on Interstate

by Sammy Edmonds posted Mar 28 2014 3:16PM
The short stint of snow showers Tuesday morning is being blamed for numerous accidents and slide-offs on I-69 in and around Grant County.

Grant County Sheriff’s Sergeant Mike Moore says they had about 20 accidents including a roll-over between the hours of 8am and noon on I-69 alone, though he says no one was seriously injured.

The southbound lanes were shut down for nearly an hour following the roll-over near mile-marker 270 which caused minor injury.

One sheriff’s vehicle slid into a cable barrier while assisting at a crash site and sustained minor damage.
