Taylor University’s satellite launch has been delayed for the second time.
The university learned from NASA officials Thursday morning that technical problems at Cape Canaveral resulted in delaying Sunday’s rescheduled launch.
One of Taylor’s “TSAT” engineers, Matt Orvis, says Taylor’s nanosatellite called “TSAT” was chosen for its small size, its ability to travel at much lower altitudes and for its unique method of communication.
Taylor’s satellite will be Indiana’s first satellite to be launched into earth’s orbit.
Orvis says they’re now patiently waiting for a new date for the launch.
