Taylor Satellite to Launch Today

by Sammy Edmonds posted Aug 25 2014 2:49PM
This apparently will finally be launch day for the Cube-Sat satellite built by Taylor University engineering students.

Taylor officials have been told by officials at NASA that the Space-X rocket bearing the small satellite should launch from Cape Canaveral, Florida just before 5 o’clock this afternoon.

The launch has been delayed twice, but NASA officials say that’s to be expected considering weather and other technical factors.

The Taylor students, faculty and staff members involved in the project all headed to Cape Canaveral over the weekend for today’s launch.
