Taylor University Film Festival Opens Thursday

The annual Envision Film Festival at Taylor University opens Thursday evening, featuring films created by Taylor University and area high school students, plus workshops and presentations by those in the film industry.
 
The festival will feature screenings of 12 films that were selected by a panel of judges from nearly two dozen that were entered.
 
Taylor University Media Communication Department Director John Bruner says the film festival continues to grow, mainly because of its acceptance by the community.
The festival will feature presentations from Taylor graduate Neville Kiser is now a screenwriter who has worked on films such as “The King’s Speech” and “Saving Mr. Banks.”
 
Also featured is Taylor grad Jason Burkey, who has starred in the movie “October Baby” and has been featured in many TV shows and commercials.
 
The Envision Film Festival at Taylor runs through Saturday. All activities are open to the public.
