Three Marion residents face multiple charges, one meth-related, following a shop-lifting incident Monday.
Marion Police were called to Walmart Monday afternoon on the report that 24-year-old Brittany Williams left without paying for jewelry. Officers caught up to a vehicle she was riding in occupied by four people. But when police questioned Williams, she gave out a fictitious name. She was then taken into custody along with two others in the vehicle, one of which had meth in his pocket. 29-year-old Adam Ormsby faces possession of methamphetamine and 38-year-old Harold Smith was arrested on a warrant for intimidation and harassment out of Marion City Court.
In addition to the theft charge and false reporting, Williams was found to have active warrants for probation violation, theft and driving while suspended.
The three were taken to the Grant County Jail.
