Two Marion Men Beaten During Home Invasion

Two Marion men were hospitalized after being beaten during a home invasion Monday night.  The two 41-year-old victims told police two to three men entered their home in the 2400 block of South Valley Avenue just before midnight, one armed with a lead pipe and another with a baseball bat.  The suspects allegedly demanded money then when the victims refused they battered both of them with the weapons, ransacked the house and fled.
The two victims were taken to Marion General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. 
A laptop was reported to be stolen after the invasion.
Police received conflicting descriptions of the suspects involved.  They have no leads at this time.
