Unemployment Rate in Indiana Dips Again

Indiana‘s unemployment rate took another dip in February. The Department of Workforce Development says the state‘s seasonally-adjusted jobless rate fell from 6.4% in January to 6.1% last month. In February 2013, it was 7.9%.
The nation‘s unemployment rate is 6.7%.
DWD Spokesman Joe Frank says the number of jobless Hoosiers is now less than 200,000 for the first time since summer 2008. Frank says Indiana grew 5400 private sector jobs in February.
