by Sammy Edmonds posted Feb 26 2014 3:45PM
The Walmart Foundation has contributed 30-thousand dollars to Project Leadership to help with mentoring programs and helping students make it into college.

Project Leadership Executive Director Tammy Pearson says the gift will help students in several ways, thorugh mentoring and helping them get into college and then graduate from college.

Gas City Walmart Distribution Center Manager Scott Murphy says giving to Project Leadership was an easy decision to make, since it helps the community now, as well as in the future.

The gift not only helps students in Grant County, but in Delaware County, too, since Project Leadership recently branched out to serve students in Delaware County schools.
