A Winter Storm Watch will take effect starting Saturday night in Grant County.
The National Weather Service says light snow is expected Saturday evening, but will be become heavy at times Sunday into Sunday evening.
Gusty winds are expected to cause blowing and drifting snow, and roads will become nearly impassable.
A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant snow, sleet, or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
The Grant County Commissioners have extended the travel advisory through the weekend, which means motorists should use caution or avoid driving altogether if possible.
