Kokomo Police say an eight-year-old girl who was reportedly kidnapped late last week by her mother has been found safe in Indianapolis.
Kolyaun Williams told police his daughter Ja’layia was taken from a restaurant by her non-custodial mother, 29-year-old Sherica Wizzard.
Williams has full custody of his daughter and had recently allowed Wizzard to spend time with the girl.
Police found the girl Tuesday with her mother in Indianapolis and returned the girl to her father.
