A Grant County man faces numerous charges following a police pursuit early Tuesday.
Officers were called to the Steak & Shake just before 3 a-m Tuesday to the report of a fight. They were told that one man involved in the fight had fled. They later found the suspect’s car and a chase began on 17th Street.
The car was abandoned a few blocks later when the driver fled on foot. He was found but when he wouldn’t respond to officers, he was tased and taken into custody. After arresting 32-year old Brandon Kinder of Fowlerton, they discovered the car he was driving was reported stolen. They found other stolen items and various drug paraphernalia inside the car.
Kinder is now in the Grant County Jail on numerous charges.
