State Looking To Crack Down On Computer Problems

State officials are adding extra precautions to make sure you get your money’s worth when state agencies make big computer software or hardware changes.

The goal is to have an outside set of eyes to catch potential problems, from cost overruns to security holes. The review panel ordered by Governor Holcomb will assess the effect across different agencies, and make sure planners don’t lose sight of what the project is supposed to accomplish.

The reviews are expected to begin next year.
