Kroger’s first Pay Less Store in Muncie will have a Grant Opening on Thursday, marking the re-opening of a grocery that used to be Marsh.
The Pay Less Store at McGalliard and Wheeling will open on Thursday with another set to open at a later date on South Tillotson. Both were former Marsh stores that were purchased by Kroger last summer at a bankruptcy auction.
About half of the employees at the new Pay Less stores are former Marsh employees that worked at those same stores.
