A teenager is in custody after a bold gun store burglary over the weekend in Anderson.
Store surveillance cameras captured two suspects as they used a stolen vehicle to ram their way into the Crack Shot Gun Shop Sunday evening, then gathered guns and took off in a second car.
Anderson police said they’ve been working hard on the investigation, hoping to get the stolen weapons off the street. They got an important break in the case on Tuesday when officers arrested 18-year old Ja Vante Johnson of Anderson. Investigators said they’re tracking evidence that ties Johnson to the burglary.
Police say they’re looking for at least one more suspect.
