If you like to drink green beer in March for St. Patrick’s Day, that’s okay according to police…but don’t drink and drive.
Indiana State Police and local law enforcement officials will be working overtime during March to get impaired drivers off the roads.
State Police Sergeant Tony Slocum says officers worry that too many persons drink alcohol around St. Patrick’s Day.
Sergeant Slocum says officers will also be looking out for those who drink too much while watching tournament basketball during March.
