The bill that would have allowed Muncie Community Schools to be taken over by Ball State University died in the Indiana Legislature Wednesday…the final day of the 2018 session.
The bill was one of the final pieces of legislation scheduled to be heard in both chambers but did not make it to either floor before the midnight deadline.
The bill would have allowed Ball State to take control of the management of Muncie Schools to try and help it out of its’ current problems that led to state takeover.
