College Wesleyan Church in Marion will be the site Tuesday of the Area Spelling Bee sponsored by Indiana Wesleyan University.
Seventy spellers from 16 area schools will take part in the event, which will send one lucky youngster on to the National Spelling Bee in Washington D-C in late May.
The Top Ten spellers will receive prizes for their efforts, but the overall winner will receive an all-expense paid round trip to the 91st Scripts National Spelling Bee.
