Ball State University’s takeover of Muncie Community Schools already has already raised nearly three-million dollars in community support for the financially strapped school system.
Ball State President Geoffrey Mearns says the Ball Brothers Foundation and the George and Frances Ball Foundation each have pledged one-million dollars in aid, and lesser donations adds up to another million.
