Communications workers in the Midwest have gone on strike against A-T & T, looking for a new contract.
Local 49-hundred of the Communications Workers of America walked out early Thursday after contract talks broke down. C-W-A workers have been without a contract since the old pact expired back on April 14th. About a dozen C-W-A members in Marion are affected by the walkout.
Union leaders say no new contract talks are scheduled at this time with A-T & T.
