Indiana’s First Fair gets underway today and it’s been an annual event since 1908.
The Converse Fair opens today and runs through Saturday at the fairgrounds on the north side of Converse…in virtually the same location for 110-years.
Besides carnival rides, 4-H competitions and fair food, spokesperson Lila Piper says one constant at the Converse Fair is harness racing…
There will also be other racing involving things with motors, like a tractor pull and dirt drags at the Converse Fair…which runs through Saturday.
