Muncie will soon be getting another new hotel.
The Muncie Board of Zoning Appeals has approved plans for a Home To Suites By Hilton that will be built on Bethel Avenue, just west of the Hampton Inn. The new Hilton Hotel will be a four-story, 100-room facility.
Construction on the hotel should begin next spring and be open in the summer of 2020.
