Kokomo’s Municipal Stadium will become a public ice skating rink as of Wednesday, and will remain that way through mid-January.
Starting Wednesday, the stadium will be known as “The Frozen Sandlot” until January 13th.
A portion of the proceeds from the skating rink will go to the non-profit Bridges Outreach Program.
Public skating at the Frozen Sandlot will cost ten-dollars for skaters and that includes skate rental. Spectators can watch for two-dollars each.
