Retiring Howard County Sheriff Steve Rogers has been given the “Pillar of the Community” Award by the County Commissioners.
Rogers will retire from law enforcement next week after 48-years of service. The Commissioners also transferred ownership of his service revolver to Rogers to further honor him.
