Marion Police say the scene of Sunday’s triple homicide was the scene of significant drug activity in the past.
Investigators say 42-year old Javon Blackwell Senior, his 12-year old son Javon Junior and his 11-year old step-son Jayzon, all died from multiple gunshot wounds to their upper bodies.
Police say they found a quantity of narcotics in the house at 23-07 South Gallatin Street. They say the home was the location of a raid by the Joint Effort Against Narcotics unit back in November of 2017. Several persons were arrested during that raid by the JEAN Team.
Police say they have no suspects in the killings at this time. The investigation is continuing.
