A joint venture between an Indianapolis-based company and a Mexican firm will bring up to 90 jobs to Muncie over the next several years.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation said yesterday that Heritage Environmental of Indianapolis and Zinc Nacional of Mexico will use the former BorgWarner property for Waelz Sustainable Products to produce zinc oxide and iron concentrate.
The companies currently operate a facility in Alabama, and two others outside the United States.
