The deadline to file to run for municipal office in the May Primary is drawing near and a flurry of candidates have filed intentions to seek spots on the Kokomo City Council.
On the Democratic side, Council President Bob Hayes has filed for re-election, as has Council Vice-President Mike Kennedy.
On the Republican side, Mike Grecu has field for an at-large seat on the council, along with Kara Kitts-McKibben.
Friday is the last day to file for the Primary election.
