A Republican Mayoral candidate in Muncie has been removed from the ballot by the County Election Board. Tony Cox had not voted in a G-O-P Primary before, so by law he could not run as a Republican.
Meanwhile, Muncie City Council candidate Monty Murphy was removed from the ballot because of a previous felony conviction in violation of State law.
Steve Smith’s name was removed from the City Council ballot at his own request.
