160 students from 15 Indiana school teams, including ones from Oak Hill, Mississinewa and Madison Grant, will participate in the Indiana State high school trap shooting state tournament on Saturday.
Clay target shooting has developed as an extracurricular co-ed activity for students grades 6 through 12. Nationwide, more than 32,000 students took part in league competition this past school year.
Saturday’s event will be held at the Indiana Gun Club in Fortville.
