What was an empty industrial site during the past decade in Muncie will receive renewed life.
The former BorgWarner plant is set to be demolished after being sold, according to reporting from The Star Press.
Heritage Environmental and Mexican-based company Zinc Nacional will invest around $85 million into the property to produce zinc oxide and iron concentrate.
It’s expected the new site will employ around 100 people and open near the end of 2020.
