Almost 80 residents showed up for a public hearing by state regulators to talk about a proposed rate hike by Indiana-Michigan Power last night.
The resounding opinion of those who attended: “no.”
According to WOWO, Fort Wayne residents criticized I&M for lacking compassion in their request to raise customers’ monthly rates by more than 11%.
A decision on the rate hike should come in March.
