Man claims Ariana Grande told him to cut down power lines

An unidentified man busted cutting down power lines in Washington State last week had quite a few reasons for his actions, including getting the idea from one of the biggest names in music.

When deputies arrived on the scene to ask the man what he was doing, he told them he worked for the government and was trying to “prevent the Russian KGB agents from poisoning the US with nuclear toxins that were being transferred from the power lines.”

Perhaps realizing police were skeptical of his response, the man then claimed Ariana Grande told him to do it.

The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office arrested him for malicious mischief, with Puget Sound Energy saying he caused about $5,000 in damages, reports KOMO.
