If you own a Corolla made between 2003 and 2008 or a Matrix manufactured between 2005 and 2008, you might need to speak with your dealership.
Toyota announced on Wednesday a new recall of 191,000 vehicles due to an issue with the airbags.
While you probably had the Takata airbags swapped out already, the replacements may also be damaged and must be changed, says USA Today. CBS News adds that it’s possible that the safety devices could fail to open properly in high temperatures.
The automaker will begin to contact affected owners in October, with dealers to handle the repair for free.
