Google being investigated by severals states over how they control internet traffic

Google is being investigated by Indiana’s attorney general and the AGs of 49 other states.

They want to see if Google is unfairly controlling internet traffic by suppressing competition from other search engines.

Hill says just like individual citizens, corporations must be held accountable and that we must recognize that stifling free and fair competition causes harm to real people.

Hill has joined a bipartisan coalition of state attorneys general who will investigate Google’s control of online advertising and search traffic.

They are also looking into Facebook.
