GM, UAW strike costs economy more than $850 million

The General Motors strike is now in its 30th day.

And according to the Center for Automotive Research, the economy has lost at least an estimated $850 million.

The strike has cost Indiana at least $67 million.

Here’s the state-by-state breakdown of the economic cost of the strike:

Kansas $20.4 million.

Kentucky $17.4 million

Michigan $159.6 million

Missouri $42.2 million

New York $35.5 million

Ohio $55.9 million

Tennessee $45.7 million

Texas $109 million.

Other 41 states $303.4 million
