Manchester University dropping majors due to low enrollment

Manchester University is getting rid of some majors, due to low enrollment numbers.

Public relations, economics, physics, engineering science, modern languages, and secondary education mathematics will be phased out, starting at the end of this school year.

Students already enrolled in those programs will still be able to graduate with those majors and minors.

The school says it is also working to redesign the Spanish, sociology and mathematics majors with an added emphasis on practical applications.
