Eastbrook: Mondays from 3-6pm at both Eastbrook North and South elementary schools and at Eastbrook Jr-Sr. High

Madison Grant: Tuesdays from 3-6pm at Summitville and Park elementary schools

Oak Hill: Tuesdays 4:30-6pm at Oak Hill Jr. Sr. high

Mississinewa: Mondays from 10-12 and 4-6 at door 9 of Mississinewa High School or door 7 at Westview Elementary School

Marion General Hospital

MGH now has a call center to address concerns of corona virus.  The number is (765) 660-6999.  It will be manned by a health care professional 24 hours a day.  From now until further notice, no visitors will be permitted to the acute care (inpatient) areas of Marion General Hospital.  Exceptions will be considered in the following areas: emergency department, surgery, pediatrics and special care nursery.  For obstetrics and end of life situations, 2 visitors will be allowed per patient.  ID must be shown, and a complete respiratory illness risk screening will be required.  All visitors should come through the main entrance on weekdays and come through the emergency entrance on weekends.  Marion General Hospital asks that you use alternative methods of communication with patients.  No unscheduled outpatient diagnostics will be performed at the main hospital.  The MGH cafeteria and gift shop are now temporarily closed to the public

Marion Rotary Club’s 100th anniversary celebration scheduled for April 24th has been postponed.  For information, call 661-6990.

Grant County Art Association has cancelled the April art exhibit at the Marion Public Library

AMC Theaters closed

The Marion Parks and Recreation Department’s Daddy-Daughter Dance scheduled for April 17th has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.

Honeywell Foundation is suspending all events at its’ properties (Honeywell Center, Honeywell House, Eagles Theater, Ford Historic Home and Charley Creek Gardens) thru Thursday April 9th; patrons are asked to keep their tickets while events are being rescheduled.

The Marion-Grant County Senior Center is now closed until April 1

The Grant County GOP Lincoln day dinner set for Saturday March 21st has been postponed until Wednesday April 21st. The event format and location remains the same. All reservations will be honored. For info, contact tresa baker: tresambaker@gmail.com

Services for the visually and hearing impaired in Grant County is closed for up to 4 weeks

Second Harvest Food Bank is in the process of ramping up its tailgate food distribution to several times per week.  Go the website, CureHunger.org, for regular and added tailgate distributions, volunteer opportunities and other resource information.
