Gov. Holcomb extends state tax filing deadline to May 17

Last week, the IRS extended the deadline to file your federal taxes, from April 15 to May 17. Now, Hoosiers will have an extra month to file their state taxes as well. Governor Eric Holcomb has signed an executive order that delays state income tax filings and payments to May 17 to match the federal delay. It allows Hoosiers who have struggled financially during the pandemic more time to file those taxes.
