Plans have been finalized for Sunday’s 20th annual Ball Drop in downtown Kokomo to see in the New Year.
While several establishments will start earlier, the city’s official New Year’s celebration will begin at 10:30 at Sycamore and Main Streets. The ball will be lit at 11 and will begin its’ downward spiral promptly at 11:59 and will ring in 2018 at exactly midnight.
Fireworks will then be fired off on the Howard County Courthouse Square and the festivities continue until 1 a-m.
