Over the weekend, Governor Eric Holcomb added five more counties to the state’s disaster list following recent flooding, including Wabash County.
Besides Wabash County being added to the disaster declaration, LaPorte, Noble, Posey and Warren counties were added, bringing the number of counties eligible for state emergency services to 31. It’s also the first step the state must take to request assistance from the federal government.
