Plans for a proposed wind farm project in northern Miami County have been put on hold and could be dead after the Miami County Commissioners Monday said a new wind ordinance requiring a two-thousand-foot setback of turbines from property lines will take effect next week.
R-E-S Energy wanted to build the wind farm in Miami and Fulton counties, but has hit serious opposition. Their plans may have been killed by yesterday’s decision in Miami County.
