The United Way of Howard County has received a 24-thousand dollar grant from the Duke Energy Foundation for the Real Men Read Program of Kokomo. Real Men Read is a volunteer reading program in local early learning classrooms like Head Start.
A kickoff program for this year’s Real Men Read will be Tuesday at 10 a-m at Bona Vista’s Early Head Start Building. Real Men Read will also get local families enrolled into the Imagination Library.
