Ball State University has agreed to buy Northside Middle School from Muncie Community Schools for just over one-and-a-quarter million dollars.
No closing date has been set for Northside. Ball State officials expect to close on the deal by mid-December.
Meanwhile, a private developer has agreed to purchase the old Mitchell Elementary School. Details on that deal have not been released.
