The United way of Delaware County wanted to raise 1.2-million dollars this year to fund member agencies. But the fundraising effort easily exceeded that figure, raising nearly one-and-half million.
United Way officials announced the numbers Thursday and say they exceeded their goal by nearly 19-percent this year, and campaign officials say they couldn’t be happier.
