Officials say yesterday’s National Walkout Day effort was one of the largest school protests in decades.
Thousands of students…including many from Howard County schools…walked out of class for 17 minutes Wednesday to protest for school safety and gun control over the recent shooting of 17 people at a Florida High School.
All of the local protests were peaceful and ended after 17 minutes as planned
