Indiana University-Kokomo Thursday broke ground on its new Student Activities and Events Center, 55-years to the day since construction began for the first building on campus.
The new Student Activities and Events Center will be the home of IU-K’s athletic teams, as well as a center for gathering for various other events on campus.
The new facility is expected to be finished in the fall of 2020.
