A Marion home was destroyed by fire Thursday evening, and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
Marion Firefighters were called to the home in the 16-hundred block of West First Street at about 6:45 last evening and found flames coming out of the front door when they arrived. The home was considered a total loss.
No one was injured in the fire.
