Roads around the area were treacherous this morning from freezing rain that fell overnight. State Police, Grant County Sheriff’s deputies and Marion Police all report numerous minor traffic accidents and slide offs due to the icy roads.
During such weather, Police urge you to slow down, keep extra distance between you and the car in front of you and be extra careful when driving this morning.
There were also scattered reports of power outages, but nothing major.
