Unreleased photos of the car crash that killed legendary movie star James Dean are going up for auction.
The collection includes 12 glossy, black-and-white overhead views of the junction in Central California happened. There are also 18 ground-level shots.
Dean was 24 on Sept. 30, 1955, when a college student in a Ford sedan pulled out in front of Dean’s Porsche at a rural intersection.
