According to Café Valley General Manager Paul Dash, the bakery received a message Sunday that a man planned to shoot an employee Tuesday.
Dash said officials took the message seriously, increasing security and contacting the Marion Police Department (MPD) as a result.
According to Dash, the man who made the threat was found across the street from the facility and was arrested.
A statement issued by Café Valley officials states that the safety and wellbeing of their employees is their top priority and they are appreciative of MPD’s help.
